Recent NAPL White Paper indicates that among the most significant Web-to-print disappointments cited by printing companies is not enough clients using the service. 58% of the companies surveyed reported a client utilization rate of 5% or less. The average rate was just 11.3%, or a little better than one in nine clients.
This makes it clear that web-to-print adaptability is a major Web-to-print challenges for print service providers.
Often printers are unable to make the most of their web-to-print implementation because customers find it complicated to adapt using online personalization and ordering. Moreover, the in-house team finds it difficult to adapt to the new system.
According to IBISWorld Industry Report, 70% of printing companies in the US have fewer than 10 employees. Therefore, hiring IT team to manage the web-to-print solution weighs heavily on their costs. On the other hand a complex online ordering process reduces customers’ adaptably, which negatively impacts revenue.
This eventually leads to a situation where in spite of making heavy investment in web-to-print technology, they fail to get the ROI.
Large number of existing web-to-print companies migrate to web-to-print solution that is easy to use – can be managed with least of IT skills, proactively upgraded and is backed by real-time support for quickly resolving their issues.
